Joyce Lindemulder lives and maintains a studio practice in the unceded K’ómoks Traditional Territory of Vancouver Island. An interdisciplinary artist working with painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, animation and video, her recent work has focused on re-contextualizing materials at hand and a diverse set of skills to unravel and engage with contradictions inherent in systemic whiteness.
Having received both a BFA and MAA (Master of Applied Arts) from Emily Carr University of Art & Design, Lindemulder has exhibited throughout the Comox Valley and Vancouver since 2008. She has taught a range of studio and academic courses in NIC’s School of Fine Art and Design, as well as at Emily Carr University.
