Valerie is a graduate of the Fine Arts Diploma at North Island College and has enjoyed taking further classes at NIC since her return to the Comox Valley in 2020.  Printmaking, pottery, and painting are all fascinating mediums for exploration.  Surprisingly etchings and woodblock images from long ago continue to find their way onto new surfaces of 3d work.  Mixed media in a contemporary fashion with homage to my past often becomes a satisfying result.
